anybody ever order anything from these guy's??? i think i recall some discussion on this subject in the past but dont remember if it was good or bad. dropped my bike the other night and the windshield caught a pole and snapped in two. bike's ok she never went all the way to the ground, just one of those dumb things, was in second gear when i shoulda been in first hahahaha and when she stalled i was turning and down she went just a easy as you can imagine hahahahaha but like i said now i need a new windshield and the only place i seem to be able to locate what i had is in a M.A.W. catalog. it was the coldest night we have had yet and the trip home reminded me of when i lived up north and never had a windshield hahahahaha but i really wasnt prepared to ride without it hahahahahaha
ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

Newt, hate to hear about the mishap. Glad you're ok. I assume that's nervous laughter? What brand shield you searching for, I'm sure someone on here will have other places you could purchase waht you need. Mike

I always has good luck with MAW. They sent me the wrong brackets for my windshield on my last order and promptly sent the correct ones with a return shipping label for the others.

Hey newt,
That's where I got my windshield and back tire and had no problem. Maybe you read about problems with Ma's Cycles?

I've ordered from them, but don't like their added handling charge. I didn't have a problem with my order, but it did take a little longer than most. I've read on other mc boards where people haven't been happy with MAW at all. If that was teh only place that had the part, I'd order from them.

Right hand turn? Done that myself - right in front of the neighbors. Glad you and the bike are okay. Happy New Year!

This week I received a Battery Tender that I ordered from them on sale a couple weeks ago. I also got my Progressive HD 412 shocks from them. Those took longer but they're now a special order item only. No problems. Their web site looks really hokey and I had my doubts about them, but they are legit. They need to hire me to redesign it.

I got mine from Phat Performance Parts. $37 cheaper than MAW and Phat throws in free shipping on orders over $99. Fast too, got here 3 days after ordering.

well it seems that they are the only place i can find the shield i want ( i want the same one i had) so i guess i will give them a shot??? i spent most of last night checking different sites trying to find it even went to the slipstrem site itself and dont see it anywhere??? but maw has it listed as a closeout item so hopefully they still have the one i want in stock?? from looking at all the shields i could find, i think the slipstream SHD-O is the one i had, its the only one that comes close with size. i like the SS-30 but i cant find the size's as it appears to come in 2 diff.....looks like short and tall but thats just from looking at the pics?? thanks for the response gang and if anybody has any suggestions as to other places to look, i accepting all advice hahahahahahahaha as many of you know , i am not the most adept person with this puter stuff so am limited as to where to look hahahahahaha
