I know ~~ our church's Christmas Eve service isn't for four more hours but here I am at the church getting ready. The good part ~~ I rode the bike in from home after lunch. Cold, but not too bad.
Merry Christmas,
Rev Rob

Merry Christmas to you Rob. I'm impressed! I'm afraid I won't be riding to church tonight. 1. 45 degrees, rain and wind. 2. Hauling me, my wife and 8 year old daughter, my trombone, a tuba player, and his horn. This is a job for the truck! Have a blessed Christmas. --John

You are a lucky man. It's 26 degrees with a lot of snow and ice. God bless and have a wonderful Christman.

Well, I tells ya Padre...I ain't much of a church-goin' man, BUT....here's to the birth of Jesus.
Maybe the best thing that ever happened to this species!
Even with the commercialization of this date, I feel that it somehow renews the human spirit each and every year.
(I know it kind'a does mine)
Merry Christmas, Dwight

I know a lot of churches go all out for their Christmas productions ~~ but tonight we are keeping it simple. As a matter of fact I titled my message for tonight ~~ A Christmas KISS (Keep It Simple, Silly). I thought if I went with Keep It Simple, Stupid someone might take it personally.

Well, I wouldn't worry TOO MUCH 'bout THAT dude...er...Padre! Most of us out here who HAVE a personality realize we ARE "stupid".(relatively speaking, of course) At least I HOPE that most of us realize THAT, anyway! And so, maybe you should go back to your original idea. That way we'll all know that you're speakin' DIRECTLY to US! I mean....so why NOT "personalize" it, RIGHT?! You MIGHT just reach a few MORE of us out there! Merry Christmas, Dwight

And a merry Christmas to you Pastor. I'm driving the Tacoma (w/wife and two adult kids) to 8:00 service tonight, as I did this AM. I may ride to 11:00 though (if I make it) .

Hello Rapid Reverend,
God's Blessings this humble day that we chose to celebrate our Lord's birth and God's second greatest Gift and Blessing. The first greatest gift being His death and resurrection. Hallelujah! What a Blessing.
I really miss the Fresno area. My bride and I would love to meet you, along with Bob and AmyLee for a ride through the parks, to Visalia then to San Luis Obispo and up the coast (you know the route).
Ride Safe Dear Brother,
Ride Safe,
Dennis

We went to candle light service last night. A marvelous soloist sang "Mary Did You Know". Quite moving. Makes you appreciate the true meaning of the Day! Have a great Christmas, all!!

I was kind of wanting to go to the candle light Christmas Eve service last night at the chruch we've been attending but it didn't start until 10:00pm. A little late for my elderly Dad. Christmas Eve services bring back good childhood memories growing up in Western PA. We would go to church, then when we came home our family would open our gifts. My parents idea for not having the kids wake them early on Christmas morning.
