have you seen the changes the did. I like the colors, but some of them I don't dig. No more spoked wheels and a blacked out engine. Strangely they switched the pipes on the speedmaster and america.

I liked spokes and crome and the pipes. I'll keep my 04.

I noticed they changed the rear peg hangers on the America. Hollowed them out. I've been thinking of doing that to my stock hangers. But am worried about weakening them.

I would like to see the blue and white combo paint and I'd like a close up look at the rear peg hangers too. Weird about the pipe change.. I like the Speedmaster wheels much better but not the ones on the America. I'm just glad they're still making them....

I'm with you on that one. I like Chrome Engines and spokes.

Ya just can't get more classic than chrome, spokes, carbs, and chains. I am glad they did away with the gray painted parts. If my foot peg hangers had been black, I probably wouldn't have changed them. I never could understand the gray hangers, sprocket and engine covers. They should have been chrome or black to begin with.

I am holding off judgement until I can see them in person.

About the only thing that seems an improvement to me is that the old "George Forman Grill" sprocket covers(as Derek[SalMaglie] calls 'em) are gone and replaced with a more rounded and classic looking piece. I think I'll order me up one of 'em within a few months....as long as they come in chrome, that is. Cheers, Dwight (and NO, Derek...it WASN'T 'cuz I was tired of your kidding, either)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Mark my words, young man. Those will be the items most sought after by the next generation of collectors/restorers.
