Heheh, I just traded in my SV650 on a SM because I discovered (the hard way) that I can't really trust myself with the power and speed of a sportbike or crotch rocket. (While the SV is no Hayabusa, it'll still break 110 without trying too hard, and it'll wheelie like a freak in 1st gear unless you're careful.)

After my inagural 100-mile ride on the SM yesterday, I'm fairly convinced that less power is GOOD, both for the integrety of my hide and my driving record. I might consider the upgraded '05 SM with the 900cc engine, but we'll leave that to another year.

Besides, the Triumphs are just soooo much cooler. Duh.
