Nice grab dude. Real nice. When you replace the carb rubbers, go ahead and pull the carbs and the manifolds. Reseal the manifolds with new o-rings (have to order those) and drop the carb bowls and examine the jet sizes for future reference. Also see if the brass bowl screws have been replaced with hexhead ss ones. Pete may have covered all this already, I know that papadean nailed it about the surging, and now all you have to do is stay single
