I'll be calling you Lucky!

Nice grab dude. Real nice. When you replace the carb rubbers, go ahead and pull the carbs and the manifolds. Reseal the manifolds with new o-rings (have to order those) and drop the carb bowls and examine the jet sizes for future reference. Also see if the brass bowl screws have been replaced with hexhead ss ones. Pete may have covered all this already, I know that papadean nailed it about the surging, and now all you have to do is stay single and invest lotsa elbow grease! Welcome to the pre-fire club!

In the words of a florida west coaster, "ENJOY" ! hahahahahahahahaha

On March 15th, 2002, Triumph had a pretty major assembly plant fire. 02 BAs were built before this so in addition to being an anniversary edition, 02s are also pre-fire. Cool, eh?

Here's a good article about the fire:

Phil, thanks for the info...and yeah, it is pretty cool. I have been working long hours all weak and it is driving me crazy not to be able to start working on the bike. I have a legal pad split into "priority sections" with about 4 aftermarket vendor sights and the list O goodies I "need" from each. I just can't help myself, every morning this week, I fire it up and just sit on the thing blipping the throttle, which instantly puts that goofy grin on my face. I think this Triumph thing is gonna cost me, LOL.
