Hi Painted Lady, welcome.
The MSF is a great way to learn to ride and get licensed.
November 2005 I took and passed the MSF course, and got my Speedmaster a couple of weeks later. It's been a GREAT bike to learn on. I've put over 8,200 miles on it in the past year.

You can't go wrong with an America or Speedmaster.
