The bar ends are a project Pop's been working on for quite a wile. And as his stuff always is, these caps are highly engineered pieces of art (see the speedo loop ;-)!! The caps are actually made of 4 pieces; A base and a cap for each side. The base is mounted to the bike and the cap is mounted to the base with a set screw. This allows the cap to be positioned any way you like, so the flag will be straight. The set screw hole is on the bottom of the base so unless you're under the bike, the whole assembly looks like one piece that's magically hanging onto the bars.
