This is some good positive news. I was hoping for a triple, but they want to save money on piston castings and whatnot. I wanted a triple because I love smooth delivery of power. The only smooth twin I've ever ridden was the old Nortons, and they weren't smooth through the entire powerband. I just thought they could do a 1400cc triple and give it a classic cruiser look. Don't get me wrong. I already want one of the future models, but my TBA is the last twin I'll own unless they prove me wrong on the vibratory aspect of internal combustion generated horsepower. If I want a 100 HP vibrator, the local HD boutique has a vast array to choose from. But again, the Hardleys sound too much like Yamahas. Depending on what Triumph shows me, I may end up with the Rocket3 Tourer.
