I agree with you, Dan. The R-3 is no beauty contest winner and I'm not a huge fan even after riding it. If they loose a cylinder and turn the engine, the new America may have some possiblities though. But they are getting further and further away from the classic look, which is a BIG reason I bought my TBA in the first place. But it can't be uglier then the R-3 , so lets wait and see.
