The freak system has brackets that provide attachment points for the faux chrome cleaner covers. Some people had to tweak, also called bend, the covers and/or freak bracket to align the cleaner cover tabs properly. I didn't. In either case I believe that problem's been corrected. K/N air filters then attach directly to the mouth of the carbs with a hose clamp.
Is "mouth" a proper mechanical term?
BTW the K/N's come with a right side and left side part number. If you go through Brent at newspeedmaster.com he'll fix you up with the stuff you need. Is "stuff" a proper mechanical term?
