No doubt on the chrome
It really isn't that complex. Just remember, the airbox has a lot of contours to it that aren't really crucial to fitting in the bike, so if you can look past those, you can probably make something with relatively few bends. And if you make something that attaches to the rear fender, make sure it connects to the front frame work too, cause that will bounce around.
Take pics too!! I'm thinking of bending up something on my own just to see if I can, because right now I am not running the left side cover, so I could simplify the stuff I think.
