It's with a heavy and grieving heart that I write this. Several hours ago my nephew was killed while riding his bike in our hometown, Tallahassee Florida. It was a single vehicle accident... he lost control and hit a tree, ending his precious young life. I can't begin to tell you what a tragedy this is for our family. My son and his cousin were the very best of friends, they loved each other. They hunted together, fished together, rode ATV's together and dreamed of a time when my son could move back to Tallahassee to go to College so they could live together. Now it's all for naught.
It's my greatest wish that everyone pause a moment the next time they ride to remember how precious and fleeting life is and to please ride safe.
