This pertains to using the turnbuckle as a brace.
Don't forget, the bottom crossmember of the carbs delivers the fuel to the carb bowls.
I would really try to only hook the brace to the top crossmember.
Would it really hurt to use the bottom? I'm not sure, but be advised.
