and he advanced his exhaust cam by one tooth. I would love to see a dyno on that.

Yup, I'd like to see this too. Preferably before for a baseline, and then after to compare. Have you(Pat) or sweatmachine seen any of these over on the Delphi forum where Bill Gately hangs out? I think there's been more talk of these exhaust cam advances over there than any other Triumph forum.

edit: and yes I realize that the 790 motors in our bikes have different valve overlap numbers than the 790 Bonnie motors. There was a guy over there though that had a computer sim program and he plkugged in the numbers for just about every variation of the cams in both Bonnie motors and our bikes.

I wouldnt advise doing this mod to the 865cc 270* engines.
There is only 7* overlap in these motors. 1 tooth of advance = 15* of advance. The reason this mod work's so well on the 790 bonnie motor's is because of the extreme overlap in the valve timing. I also would not expect much difference on paper regarding a dyno report doing this mod.

If there's 1 thing I've learned modding my bike difference's felt by the seat of the pant's and differenc's seen on paper are 2 different things.
