i have one of these helmets, and i suppose, someone on here could see a photo of me in that lid and say i look like a moron. my goal in the purchase of the headtrip lid was closest fitting, lightest weight, DOT half helmet i could find. this product actually helped me get back into wearing a helmet.
it fits well, is very comfortable and as was mentioned earlier in this thread; their customer service is excellent.
however, i have had a change of helmet-heart and now wear a ful lface helmet 95% of the time. now someone on this site could see a photo of me in the full face helmet and say i look like a moron; but as Grump reminded some of us earlier in the week, "you can't please everyone."
whatever choice you make, and no matter how many times we flog this helmet debate; just be safe above all else(please.)
