short ribs, baked potato, mushrooms sauted in Merlot, and salad tonight. No match for next weekend, but a good start.
Tick Tock
Ha! Standard breakfast: One beaten egg poured over three sauted mushrooms, lightly browned yellow onions, and one diced clove of garlic. Folded with about 2oz of Gruyere(Spit) cheese, and lightly scrambled until just so. One tater pattie, and, one toasted till dark brown, sourdough english muffin, each half with 1 tsp of dairy butter. All this is chased down with a very dark and extremely robust expresso, made with, that morning ground, Italian roast starbucks whole bean, dumped in a 1/3c steamed milk residing in the new Triumph logo coffee cup, topped off with a shot of liquid (36% milk fat) heavy whipping cream, and with a glass of 50/50 mixture of pulp free OJ and pure tangerine juice. On the side.
Think I'll get someone to fix that up fer me this coming weekend? Most likely will be a honey bun and cup of bitter robusta brew. Which breakfast will I enjoy more? The one next weekend at the rally of course!
Pulled pork. Who said the butts in boston weren't fine?

Moe, found us a new breakfast place in DeLeon Springs next to a horse track. Rode out there yesterday morning to inspect for potential flat track test site. Good stuff and nice people. Best sausage gravy that I have ever eaten.
We'll have to ride out next time you are in town. Perhaps we'll get a group together for Bike Week? Wojo will love it except the wait staff speaks only 'merican.
Bears don't play until 3pm on Sunday. Clears the way for the Rally trip! Tick Tock...

I've been working on something that will impress the ladies, no matter what language they speak. I light a hoop on fire and then jump through it. Huh? Huh?

Very nice. Can't wait to see it. Scratch one Ducati from the Rally. They start dropping like flies right at the end. Probably has to get ready for the big ride to Flagler Beach or something. We'll see who drops next.

Priorities dude. BTW, the Ducati is back in. We are leaving around 6:30pm on Friday. I have no idea when that puts us in Okeechobee. Will look later in the week.

You are kidding, right? After all the threats, promises, and sick inuendos, your not bailing now! We'll have to make an intervention run to bring you to your senses. Parenting is not what it's built up to be, kids will be there forever to make your life miserable until you die. Whereas your bretheren Triumph riders will accept you with open arms and unconditional.... well, I tried to keep a straight face Hope you make it anyway, later, Tom.
But, what do I know?

That is what I figured. I always feel guilty heading that way as my aunt lives down 60 towards Lake Wales. Oh well, better luck next time Auntie!

If you guys took CR512 west at Sebastian, it might save a few. It runs into 60 west of 95. Take a look at a map.

But then you'd have to go thru beautiful downtown Fellsmere, right by the 'Sugar Shack'. Might impact your trip time by a couple of $1 beers!

Come on Yota, I had the Nair ready for you to pass out and we were going write obscene things on your back hair. Of course we understand if it REALLY is your kid. Me I think you playing around the train tracks in Boon, KY. Isn't that where they had the big derailment and fire today? Yota did not get enought time with his Lionel train set as a kid and makes a freight train take a dirt road. Mark

Yup...Matt's been on the road for 45 minutes or so now. We should be leaving my buddy's garage in NJ around 4:30-5:00.
Our plans as of now are not to stop till we get to Okeechobee...well for gas of course, but you get the idea. That's the plan, but we'll play it by ear and see how we feel. We might end up pulling off the highway for a few hours tonight for a nap though.
