Nice...mine's not a straight shine anymore...after we finish a batch, we either put it in 5 liter barrels and age for a minimum of 3 months, or flash age it for 2-3 weeks in toasted/charred white oak chips.

What proof do you cut down to? I distill once and leave it at 125-130 proof.

not really sure what proof it is. it varies batch to batch & i have no way to check it. Using the "butt dyno" i think it is close to 100 octane.

I found out that there are horses in Mark's neighborhood. I don't think it would be a very good idea to be shooting off fireworks. Matt & Mark, you might want to put your money into those foam cowboy hats instead.

Sorry guys, there are livestock in the area. Loud reports from fireworks would spook them. Yota, neighbor across the street has about 5 head of long horn and they are just looken for a good stump broke cowboy.I am afraid when you show up the sheep will bah DDAAAAAAAAADDDYYYYYYY.

Since I won't be rolling in until Saturday morning, what would be considered a good time for my arrival. I don't necessarily want to wake any of the campers up, but would like to get there early enough to set up my small tent, meet and greet before departing for the days activities.

Tom you could be our alarm clock, when ever you get there rev your engine a few times. We will get out of our tents rub our eyes and put our boots on while you setup yours and then we can all take off on adventures!!

Kinda sounds like a Maxwell House or Foldiers commercial.
We'll all be rubbing our eyes, then Fill and Mark will come out with steaming hot coffee and we'll all sit around and bond over the fresh morning air and freeze dried coffee.

Glad to hear your gonna make it Tom...talking with Mark last night, looks like we're gonna leave his place for the meet-up in Okeechobee City @ 9:15 so that we'll arrive about 9:30. Think the kickstand up time is about 10, in order to get us to Clewiston for lunch reservations. Should be back at his place about 4:30. YMMV....not valid in Texas, Arkansas or Californicatia....Closed Course with stunt driver, do not try at home. later, Tom.

Have your guys heard what Tom (PanMan60) is cooking up for Saturday night dinner. He will start smoking two Boston Butts Friday night, stoke the coles on Saturday am before we depart and then we are going to have the most delicious pork pull on Saturday night. That pulled pork will be smoked for almost 24 hours. ****** I can taste it now. Our thanks to Tom. He called me up and said he wanted to do dinner Saturday night. What did I say but hell yes when I heard what he wanted to do. Beats the Pork and Beans I was going to feed you. So a very big Thank Yeee to Tom (panman60) for bringing this extra special treat for us.

That is so awesome. As a Carolina guy, I love pulled pork. I have one more addition to my group if that is okay. Bill Gately from Bonneville Performance wants to ride down with us on his Bonneville 904GT. Hope that is okay. With two hotel rooms, I am not sure where all of our group is going to stay. I may need to camp with Yota if he will have me.
