OK boys and girls step right up who will be the first to put their name on the line to say they are coming. First five who sign up and do show up, get a free patch and an official Camp Lauderdale pine cone. Also if coming let know if you want to camp or are interested in Motel. At this point (12-06) it's a go. I have to evaluate the rear tire on Frog, it's gonna be close. Will be leaving the Atlanta area with bike in tow Friday morning, drop in Lake City, ride from there. Need someone from the Atlanta area to drive down with, maybe split the gas. Probably be camping, especially if I have to spend $150 on a tire....

I am planning on being there, but I probably won't be able to show up until Saturday. I will be getting home that Friday from a 12 day business trip, which will make it difficult to turn right around and ride south.

Mark, I took the liberty of inviting a Ducati, BMW, and Harley/Triumph riding friend(s) of mine. I have no idea if they are planning to come. Thus, we may need motel space. If you have the name, I will research.

Hi Ryan,
Has anyone mentioned when this Meet&Greet will happen? Everyone immediately started talking about bunking with Yota, and the dates got lost.
Oh, I get it, this is one of those "Let's get together, but don't tell Skillet" get togethers. You don't have to hit me over the head with it. I can tell when I ain't supposed to be there.
I'd love to do a long ride and take my wife "asphalt dancing", but trying to get out of debt before October with my plant closing the following May, a daughter in college, I bet I won't have the money. But I'd try.

Step two of sign up. I am trying to figure out how many meals and how many people at each meal to cook for. Since this is my first rally and my first time hosting one I may seem like I am doing this piece meal. But as an idea strikes me then I need to address it. So...If you could please start to think about what time you will be arriving. If you will eat Friday night, Sat AM, Sat Lunch is on the rode, Sat night and Sunday AM. I will need to know by around the 12th of January. Also I know not all people drink..so if you want soda instead beer PM and I will have what you want ready for you. Thanks/Mark

Pickin up rear tire today, now trip is entirely dependant on weather in Atlanta from the 19th to the 21st, no problem getting the time off, just too expensive to trailer down. If I come down, I will ride the whole trip, dependant of weather.....

what are the directions to your property??? it is starting to look like i might be able to make it??? still up in the air as to schedule but i was looking at the calender and if things stay the way they are???? it's lookin pretty good. if i can make it i will be comeing in from the west side of the lake to 441 then i assume its north of town somewhere??

Newt, Your right about 441. At the 70/441 intersection(turn left) go north of town for right at 8 miles. Take a right (east) , on 131st. Go 1 mile, road will end at a "T" intersection, this will be N.E. 26th Av. Turn right go down 8 mailboxes to 12251 N.E. 26 Av. driveway to the right. Just look for the Blue Bonne. Cell number is 772-486-5099. more directions coming this week.
Looking forward to this Rally, it looks like it is shaping up to be a blast.
