If you know any heavy equipment or truck mechanics, they probably have the 1 & 7/16 socket. As the others have mentioned, they're a near perfect fit on the 36 mm nut. (If I recall, 14 or 15 mm & 9/16 are pretty close too?)
Another tip - the rear brake will hold the chain and sprocket in place while tightening or loosening the front sprocket nut.
Perhaps it goes without saying, but better to err on the side of caution -- be sure to put the tranny in neutral while loosening & tightening the nut.
