they'll take one of their cookie cutter hard tail frames.
Slap a Triumph 865 in it, Thow on some crome do dads ape hangers and wide rear tire, long forks skinny spoked front tire and call it done. those guys dont care if what they build is ridable, they make trailer queens and lawn ornaments.

Let's face it, guy & gals - That's usually what a chopper is.
You take a perfectly good motorcycle, tear it apart,

I beg to differ sir... perhaps I'm old school but a chopper to me is somthing you build in your garage out of a wrecked 68 whatever and lawn mower parts.

I agree with the old school, but I also agree that is what a chopper was and this is what they are now. I understand that much of what you see on the show is mostly high dollar theme bikes, but that is why they got the show. They do build regular bikes but I'm not sure they can build an everyday bike. When I talked with Billy Joel this summer he told me the number one priorty on his list for OCC was a bike he could ride regularly if he wanted. That became his number one complaint, even over the mismatched paint. The bike sure did look great in person but he said it was a typical local bar cruiser, not capable of being a daily or distance rider. For $125k you think they could accomplish that.
