The difference I've noticed between Phoenix weather and Tucson weather after living out here for over 10 years is that Phoenix doesn't cool off as much at night in the summertime. It'll be 70-80 at midnight down here on a hot summer day, while in Phoenix it'll still be 95-100.
But you did pick a great time of the year to visit. October-November is the best time of the year to ride. Although we get similar temps in the spring, it's usually a bit windier that time of the year.
