The world is filled with unfair double standards. Without getting into a political rant (Which would get deleted anyhow.) Just look at who is allowed to say what, and who is called defamatory names just for defending themselves. Like Orwell's pigs in Animal Farm, we are all equal but some are just more equal than others. Political correctness and moral relativism have gotten us to the point that certain people are immune from criticism regardless of the falsity and vileness of their words. Politically correct lies can be trumpeted from the rooftops while obvious truths must be left unsaid for fear of offending the hypersensitive.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
