Hey Bear,
Use SimiChrome for your chrome bits. I've used it for over 30 years and nothing compares. It can be used on ANY metal. Works like a dream on quality crome. I just used it to remove the bluing, browning from my headers. I'll post a picture.
I've heard of some using brasso for chrome - DON'T!!!
Brasso is for removing tarnish from soft metals - only.
It will scratch your chrome and eventually have a spiderweb affect. Stick with simichrome and a good polish for paint.
I've tried several, but Eagle One glaze and sealer provided the best shine, so far. Then I use Honda's spray cleaner and polish for in between touch ups. Never, ever use S100 on your bike. This stuff is designed for bikes like HD that look like garbage anyway in 3 years. Mine is 3.5 years old with 37,000 miles on it and people still think it's brand new, and I've been asked "how many q-tips do you use during cleanup?". Trust me here - I am good - look at the pictures.
Keep The Shiny Side Up,
Dennis
