Well guess I won't take my helmet, gloves, jacket or draggin jeans off all weekend But somehow just thinking of that blast and flash of light turning night into noon makes me smile really BIG. Did I tell you fireworks ie mortars are legal in Florida all year long.

I did the tentative question yesterday. "So, ya want to go camping with a bunch of Triumph riders down Ogrechubby way in January?" "Sure, as long as we get to change bikes!!" So looks like I'm in, and you'll just have to figure out who's on the Geezer Harley, and who's on the red BA. (hint..I'm the ugly one!) Soooo Mark, how big is the back forty there at your place? Need to start planning...get some bags...put on the spots.... Good thing I haven't bought for Xmas yet!

Well here is the skinny. I got 10 acres out in the country and I am mowing about 6 of the ten. I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath double wide trailor with a 40X20 screened in porch. Got a small workshop out back with covered parking for bikes if it rains. Fenced back yard. Can camp as a group or out in wild yonder if you like. There is a Motel in Okeechobee about 8 miles from the property I will check on prices this weekend. Wife is in Vegas this week so I am mister Mom to the kids and can't make it out to Okee to check it out till she gets back. Don't live there full time, it is going to be retirement place in 5 to 10 years. Since my last name is Lauderdale we call it "Camp Lauderdale". For the yoots it will be "Camp Liquordale". You Can arrive as early as Friday afternoon. Lap of the Lake on Saturday with various stops at watering holes. Keg of beer, cook out and fire works Saturday night. Then up to Frog Leg Festival in Felsmere Sunday afternoon.Working on getting a rocker patch made. Need suggestions. do we want "So. Flo. Rally 07"
"Gator Rally 07" "Lap of the Lake Rally 07" or any other suggestions. Let me know. Who wanst to volunteer for ride captain and figure out meet up places in route. I will take care of accomodations, food and beer donations will be accepted by Bubba. Guess we need to start working on a head count. All suggestions greatly appreciated. This is our rally lets make it fun and safe.

Oh yea, forgot to mention, got a 1/4 mile dirt track. Also have a Honda XR100 dirt bike that sat up too long and is not running. Will have a motorcycle lift and set of metric tools. Need help in getting it running so we can see who can fall off the most. Also have a 90cc ATV. Should be fun.

I like Gator Rally. I'm willing to be ride captain even tho I have never been in the area...It should make for a fun ride. I'll even get the Honda running for ya & do some wheelies!

Well we've had the GA Rally, and the NY Rally, I think there was an OH Rally,so how about FL Rally 07? Gator Rally works too!

JR, I might ought to be figgering out the rides. I know the area we are riding in very well. I'll have to go and make a run of course to check out fuel stops, eateries, watering holes, etc. The things I do for youse guys!

Phil-Can we do a late night tour of Broward County??? I've been watching lots of fun stuff happen there ever since "Cops" started airing. I think I'll bring the "27" & a few mags.

Looks like a "GO" for me....count me in. Anyone want to ride and share gas, I will be trailering from the Atlanta area to somewhere around Lake city, and ride in from there. Have room on the trailer for another bike....Leaving early Friday morning....PM if interested...

Count me and the wife in as 2 bikes, tent campers, both excellent cooks. I kinda like 'Gator Rally 07'. I'll help out however you need. Is your place off of 441? I usually head over to the left side of the state by going thru Yeehaw Jnct. and the side road it to Basinger, then out 70, so I'm familiar with the area. The ride to Felesmere will be great for me, coz it will be on the way home! I'll plan on coming in Friday nite.

the FL rally would go better with the other patches....

Florida Rally 07 would go with other patches from past rallies. Phil sent me the company that Pat used so they would exactly the same. Would look good for people who make multiple rallies in multiple years. I will have Motel rates posted by Saturday night. I am creating a Florida Meet & Greet Sign up post so we can get a firm Head Count. I will contact the patch company tomorrow and see what the lead time is for the patches. This will be great!!!

Yep, 13 and well hidden just from your reputation alone. Still looking forward to meeting you. Somebody else has daughters, they have to come from some where. You got to watch out for the Okee girls. I overheard two cowgirls talking in a bar last week. The big girl with green teeth said to the bigger older girl with no teeth "Can I have her when you are through with her Mom?"

What is everyones taste in Keg Beer? Distributor lives up the street so can pretty much get anything or can use the old retired military ID and go to the Coast Guard Station in Jupiter and get a Keg cheap but selection would be limited. Let me know.

Making some rally plans. I ordered 50 patches today. Decided on "Florida Rally 07" to go along with other BA.COM rally patches. Patches will cost $2.50 a patch. Dates are set now. Friday Jan 19 will be set up day. All are welcome, Come INTO THE LIGHT. Anyone who wants to get crazy with my chain saw to cut fire wood is more than welcome. Also we will draw straws to see who gets to tap the keg. Only concern is if we tap Friday, will there be any left for Saturday night. Then Saturday will be Lap of the Lake with barley pop stops along the way. Bonfire, cookout, music, lies around the fire on Saturday night. Sunday 21 Jan will be a quick run up to Fellsmere to the Frog Leg Festival. More info to come. Any specific questions PM me or post here.\
