Aw come on Fred. Give Chryslers a break. I had 2 GC's a '94 and a 99' and never had a problem. I took my Hunter green 94 GC 4x4 every where. From rock crawling in Colorado to getting stuck in a boggy field here in OK.(my fault). I was amazed at where they would take me. The 99 had the new(then) 4.7 liter V-8 and I would get 20mpg on the Hwy. The 94 had the old reliable 318 V-8 that was used from snow cats to marine applications for 25 years or so. And the newer ones with Daimler influence, have better quality control then ever before.... Oh yeah my favorite Bond is still Sean Connery. I bet Bond would drive a Viper..
