Why is it that in so many movies the villain comes up with some wild diabolical way for the hero to die and then LEAVES? Why wouldn't they want to SEE him dead?
I guess the answer is that it would make movies too short, or the hero must live, or is it that the audience has to see the hero overcome the perils and the villain?
Maybe all the writers grew up reading comic books like me and are stuck with the "Batman conumdrum".
