Ah, I get it now, Chris.

It's kind'a like comparin' Hitchcock's shower scene in "Psycho", where if you really look closely, Norman Bates' knife never is shown actually coming into contact with Miss Leigh's skin....and then comparing that to what is evident on the movie screens today by directors(and a modern public apparently hungry for the most gore possible) of the same genre.

Am I close here?
