I broke the nuts loose inside the mufflers and had to cut the heads off of 2 bolts, I have 1 bolt on each new thunderpipe but I don't want to ride this way. Does anyone know the size specs for these bolts, maybe I could get them at a hardware store cause I can't get to the dealer with my work schedule. He would probably have to order them anyway.

Don't know the size, but I would try fitting different size to the Triumph mufflers that you took off, until I got a good fit.

Blue '03 TBA, Made in England. (50+ mpg).

The New Zealand guys did supply new bolts with mine, but I was able to reuse the originals. The bolts are 8mm, and the replacements they sent were stainless (I think) hex head bolts, not allens. I liked the allens better, even if they're not seen.

Sure do like how they sound!!!

Cheers, Mike

Grump,
I checked a couple hardware stores last evening and none had stainless steel metric bolts,so I bought 2 regular metric bolts. I figure they will work temporarily till I could find stainless steel ones.

"If you don't get them let me know... I'm gonna do some riding this weekend also and you're only about 66 miles from me.... "

Now if this is an offer to bring some good bolts up this way, He!! Yea, not as much for the bolts but to meet and put a face on the muser that has made me laugh for 2 years now. I"d like to meet you and maybe pick your brain for some tweeking tips too. Also there is some nice riding here on the mountian. I believe you've been up this way before.Get back to me and let me know.
