Bonneville America Forums Forums Technical Forums Performance Mods New carbs & throttle position sensor

Hi all

thinking of fitting slide carbs to my SM - but what about the throttle position sensor. I understand that the throttle position alters the ignition timing - what effect would fitting carbs with no provision for TPS have on the performance?
