I have the Bubs on my bike and would like to make it a little louder. Has anyone tried knocking out some of the baffles on them yet? If so how did you do it.

Daniel,
I've got Bub slash cuts on my BA. Have you ever just grabbed a fistful of throttle? Mine is so f***ing loud it
could wake the dead. Yet at normal throttle openings it is
loud but not that loud. Still, if you do knock out the baffles let me know how it sounds.

if life gives you lemons keep them because hey, free lemons.

Just throw them in the trash and run without them. If that's not loud enough...well???

Daniel, just drill out the 2 rivets holding the guts in, and bingo, you'll have your neighbors lining up at your door to thank you I'm sure. Honestly, what little backpressure these pipes do provide, don't know how the engine would run with less...

It's not that loud at idle. It does get pretty loud when you get on it but I want it a little louder. My buddy with a Harley Night Train said that he could just barley hear it when we were beside each other. I can't let the Harley dround me out. That would be un-heard of!

Hey Beavis, what did you have to do with your air box and jetting? What does it sound like without the baffles? When I put the pipes on I had the dealership adjust it. I think the AI got removed and did something with the needle seat. But they didn't rejet it. I want the setup that boogieman has with the 2 cones coming out of each side, I had a similar idea just didn't know how to do it right. I'm a better painter than a mechanic. I will try to re-jet it myself if its not that hard.

Daniel - Bayern's right, just knock out the rivets. They're rivets???? I thought they were Allen screws. Just kidding...

Give Bub Enterprises a call. They've got a tech line and they're pretty helpful 1-800-934-9739, or email bubent@bubent.com
