Yes, some of us with families are forced to be cagers. Not sure what's the problem with the rest of you.
Who says you need a car to take the kids to school, or get groceries, or go to work. Between my saddles and sissy bag I can carry 8-10 bags. Needing more just means multiple trips which = more riding time.
The kids can be taken to school on the bike. More than one child again = more riding time.
I guess the family part may be a problem but I have two kids and a wife. If she would ride we can each carry one child when going out.
I spent the better part of the summer out of state doing contract work. Staying out of state 1-3 weeks at a time. Never took the cage.
