They started setting up the christmas tree stand in the Kmart parking lot today... Yikes!! I'm all for getting shopping done early, but the decorating thing kills me! I used to think it was weird when my neighbor would set up the tree on thanksgiving. Once I got to college, my parents would wait for me to get home to even GET the tree, much less decorate it, sometimes it was christmas eve!!

I think they put out the Christmas stuff the same time as Halloween this year.

I work for Big Lots of all places, and they have had Xmas stuff out for well over a month. We had Halloween stuff out somewhere around the end of August. Right now, there is very little left of the Thanksgiving stuff, the entire store is dedicated to Xmas. At least they aren't calling it "Holiday" instead of Christmas!
