I did finally manage to get mine on by myself.. but as Calen says, it was a big pain. I started with the right side. As I said before and calen confirms it initially comes up short of the rear mount.. you have to really lube it up and twist it up the pipe until it fits.. and it really comes frighteningly close to the chain. But it finally co-operated. Funny thing was the left side went on a whole lot easier. So it can be done.. and I thank a gentleman named Doug who kept in touch with me thru e-mail and didn't let me quit, as I was about ready to return them. They are now on and sound great.
