I just put some BUBs on my 06 TBA and it was a freaking nightmare. Trying to do it alone was not a good idea. The fit was extremely tight and seemed to come up short. I had to get some friends involved to help push and twist them into the right position. I had to have one person hold the bike because I was afraid we were gonna push it over.
I also had them very close to the chain at first. Once we twisted them a bit to fit into the mark better, it rotated the end of the pipe away from the chain. They now fit fine.
This is not a project I would attempt solo again.
