Thanks for your comment Joel. Whilst is seems logical the America bars would be a good option on mine, hearing that you find yours comfortable makes my decision (if I do go ahead with it one day) much more encouraging.
Also I realise I will have to change cables, which is another issue again. For instance there are stores out there that do custom cables and I might look at different options there. I didn't think the America cables might fit my setup.
