Finally won a set of Deuce Risers on eBay for a reasonable price, so I decided to order the riser adapters. It turns out that both J&P Cycles and Dennis Kirk are selling the same part ... a Kawasaki Riser adapter from Lightning Performance Parts. I eventually had to call Lightning directly to get the specs for the adapter. Both of the threaded parts (1/2" and 10mm) are about 1" long, and so is the unthreaded 10mm chunk in the middle.
I ended up buying a pair from Dennis Kirk, since they were a tiny bit cheaper for both the part and the shipping. Wish I had the skills to machine my own, though, since $35 for, essentially, two funny looking bolts, seems a bit steep.
That's OK though ... I'll get over it when I stop stressing my back leaning forward on long rides :-)
