I've been looking through the archives to see if anyone had thought about the vintage finned header clamps. Here is a
thread that talks of the merits and challenges.
Overall, it appears that the new engines wouldn't allow a standard type of finned clamp to work. Of course my very next thought was maybe this would be something that could be custom made for the newer engines....Brent?
In looking at my engine, it may work to have one half of the finned clamp deeper to sit further back against the engine.
