Thanks guys! The railing came with a flat side on the bottom, and a tiny groove milled into it for the centerl ine, VERY handy. So I clamped it to the 2X6 upside down and drilled holes with my press. (pic below) then I opened them up a wee bit with the dremel. I took pipe caps, drilled a hole in the middle, and epoxied and screwed the caps into the holes. Let em sit. Then screwed the whole pipe assembly to them. One of em came out crooked so that is what that wedge is for, rather than mess with re-drilling or whatever, just shimmed out the one support.
