Hey guys, thought I would share a little something I've been working on for my future father in law. He had a stroke in March and part of his therapy is practicing walking with a railing. He only needs one, cause he can't support any weight with his right hand... They (Kim's parents) are moving to an apartment off the side of her grandma's house next month which has been totally renovated to accomodate them, including a ramp off the house. They asked if I could figure out a way to have a railing in the back yard so he can practice walking outside. Well 6 coats of marine varnish later, it's all done! An oak railing supported with black iron pipe fittings. ROCK solid. Came out real nice I think! Can't wait for them to see it!
Anyway, I had to share since it has been consuming my garage for a month!!
Here are the pics. I can't get them to work on here
