I took a ride Tues. to Princton to have lunch in the Triumph Brewing Co. It's a converted bowling alley. But they did a nice job if you don't mind climing stairs. From the street it's in the back of a building, about 100 ft. Food was pretty good. This place must really hop at night. It was a great day for a ride.

Triumph Brewing is high on my road trip agenda. We could probably hit Princeton and New Hope in the same day.

Not that I condone drinking and riding, but the Ship Inn brew pub in Milford, NJ is nice too.

Guys we really need to get a NJ group together! Problem is the season is kinda over for long day trips. It gets mighty cold by about 5PM nowadays! So we should get some firm plans together over the winter for a spring meet n ride. I'm not a fan of drinking and riding either, but sipping on one beer over a nice big lunch is ok.

NJWelsh, PM me if you like. I'm not far from you.

Benny, now that I have the Hippo Hands, cold weather riding is not a problem as long as it's dry out. We'll pace ourselves over a nice meal I'm sure.

Over the winter we could set up a road trip in NJ. I always try to visit a Triumph Dealer on every trip. on That trip I went to Green Brook Cycle in NJ. We could meet at a dealer ship from all over and travel from there. As to drinking and riding thats a no no, But a sample is fine with a good meal.

Erwin, I'll have my people talk to your people, we'll form a committee, have a roundtable discussion, conference call the folks from LI in, run it up the flagpole and see who salutes it.

In the meantime, it ain't snowing yet, so LET'S GO!

Sunday, November 12 WEATHER PERMITTING. Who's in?

I live on LI. So to get to Jersey is an 1hr 1/2 for me, so you'll have to give me time. I've never been to Trebour, where is it? If the weather is decent on the 12, where to? lunch?? Make it someplace that other's could meet.

Anthony, the trip on or off the Island it a bear. We'll work with you.
Maybe a late-morning meet somewhere for breakfast then on to Princeton and/or New Hope?
Let's see what other folks have in mind.

Trebour Motorcycles is on Route 46 in Ledgewood in Morris County. It would be closed on Sunday the 12th of course but you could save that for another day perhaps?

So we should get some firm plans together over the winter for a spring meet n ride.

There is a nice event in the spring at Washington's Crossing State Park, just south of New Hope. It is the Delaware Valley Norton Riders "Gathering of the Nortons"

DVNR website

There is a good cross section of bikes, mostly Nortons(of course), BSA, Triumph, Vincent, etc. It is a fun event to go to. There is a picnic at their club site that is about 20 curvy miles away, but I have only gone to it once. I go to the gathering site and then take off on the local roads around New Hope. Perhaps a meet at the event and then Triumph Brewing afterwards.

I just got a new bumber sticker "Ever stop to think, and forget to start again" A cold weather terlet would be fun concidering it would take me about 10 min just to get my riding pants down, then nothing to find for the cold. New Hope sounds great. I would come from the Gothels bridge. Where could we meet?

Hmmmm...... was just in new hope last week and princeton the week before. Though I was in a cage for one of the trips. Love new hope, been doing that cruise for years. They closed my favorite cheese shop though.

I learned a new word today

"a quorum is the minimum number of members of a deliberative body necessary to conduct the business of that group"

Thanks Kevin

I don't see why anyone can't join a ride. OK The weather looks real good for the `12. Our destination is Triumph Brewy in New Hope. Where do me meet? I'll take the gothels into Jersey. I could be there around 9or 10.

Is anyone coming form the Long Island or NY area?? Stopping at Hopewell for breakfast, leaves only about an hour ride to New Hope for lunch. . I'll meet anyone at either the Gothels or Outer bridge, just let me know. I figure to be at New Hope by noon
