Actually reminds me of my couple visits to Holy Loch way back when (not often enough for my tastes). Remember very well watching the weather changes coming down the Loch (which runs N-S) from the Highlands, rain, then snow, then sun, in 15 minute intervals. Truly beautiful to watch (not so great for the poor schmucks who had to stand watch topside in this!) And everything so green, even in midwinter, similar to New England (but better!) Got to Glasgow once, and Edinburgh, just wish I could find a way back (too old now to volunteer for subs again, not to mention the bodily injuries it would bring upon me from my wife!)
