MY .02- BUY A BIKE! I bought a used 03 T100-$4800 it had only 3000 miles. I then sold off parts that were not used for the build. I had a net cost of $3500 in the engine/trans, wheels, brakes/rotors, complete ignition system, wiring harness, fork tubes, risers, carbs, gas tank, etc. Using a complete bike also makes it easy to title and insure. I tried the salvage route and could not justify the expense. Also OEM Triumph replacement parts are very expensive (a fried ign mod cost me $700!) I'll bet right now you can get a killer deal on leftover 05 models, sell off parts and still have a net parts cost of less than $5000. IMHO you can't beat this platform for a inexpensive custom build! BTW 'DA TRUMP CARD' will be in issue #56 of THE HORSE! Thanks for all the support and.............. START CHOPPIN'!!!!
