I have the Deluxe Fleetside Slants. A piece of heavy flexible plastic would likely work better than plexiglass, more forgiving. They do get streesed when they are over stuffed, easy to do, but structurally, they handle it real well. I love mine.
Neighbor gave them to me. He had placed the plastic sheet on the mounting side of the bag and that was two years ago. Plastic just helps and is a good move. I have Easy Brackets and they are really the best.
