Those Mechanic bags are sweet, Matt.

My Touring bags are the same, only a full 13" deep instead of the 12.5" Mechanics.

I had some plexi-glass handy when I received the bags and brackets, but it split out as I tried to drill it, so I tossed it. The bags have held up real well, to a lot of abuse and overloading, too, I might add. Mine were a Christmas addition last year, but have a good 13k on them already, give or take. (I do take them off when I want to ride "naked".) Those EZ-Brackets are nice.
