Don't know what the Tequilla version is called but Vodka and Grapefruit is a Greyhound. Anything Grapefruit combo with Vodka is a DOG. Salty Dog, Greyhound, etc.
I am a licensed Bartender but I only work partys or special occasions. I would'nt survive if I did it full time. I'll check some of my recipe books I might have an answer for your TeKillya drink.

Not really.

We'll, sometimes!

But those are USUALLY very short days!!

A Sunrise has Grenadine though.

Not that I would know for sure!

Oh, and Orange juice! Not Grape juice.

So I've been told.

If memory servers me right,

I'd say the pin was pulled sometime during sleep!

As it always hurt the next day!

Go figure.

Still think it MAY BE a South of the Boarder PLOT!

OK, what is all this talk of mixing grapefruit juice with Tequila?! That might be fine for the run of the mill JosƃʒƂĀ© Cuervo crap (which by the way is 100% SYNTHETIC agavƃʒƂĀ© juice, and therefore El Crapola!) NO, the proper Tequila is La Bandera. First, you cut a lime in thick slices. This goes on the Left. Then you fill a tall shot glass with 1 to 1 1/2 oz. of Don Julio Reposado (or Anejo) or JosƃʒƂĀ© Cuervo Gran Centenario Tequila (all made with only natural agave juice from cactuses outside of Guadalajara!), and put it to the right of the lime. Then you fill another shot glass with Sangrita (it's a mix of mostly tomato juice, spices and orange juice, kind of thick, tastes very good!), and put it to the right of the tequila. Therefore, you have Lime, Tequila, Sangrita from left to right, or Green, White, Red, the colors of the Mexican Flag (La Bandera) Then it's pretty simple. Starting with the lime, you bite out the meat of the lime, shoot (slowly, not gunshot fast) the Tequila, then the Sangrita. It's a perfect mix of sour, fiery, and spicey, great after a dinner, or just by itself. And, if like me, after a few of them, you might find yourself singing along to the song Guadalajara (maybe out loud too!) Now THAT is how to do Tequila!! Viva la Revolution!!!

Oh, by the way, this is MUCH more healthy for breakfast since you're getting Orange juice, limes, and tomato juice all at once!!!

As I set here with a shot of Don Julio Tequila in my hand I am OFFENDED that anyone would sully Tequila with fruit.

If it is good Tequila it needs no garnish!!!!!!!!!!!

To each his own. You go ahead and use your hand, but since I don't know where you put your hands, I'll stick to a shot glass...

My last run-in with Tequila was a red rocks desert party in 1981, between the front door and the couch I was offered and politely accepted 3 shots (w/salt). I likened it to diesel fuel with a kicker. Haven't touched the stuff since. I've done alot of stuff I haven't done since .

But do you eat the worms or not? Personally, I enjoy cheap tequila, sea salt and juicy lime. If a worm is preserved in it, so much the better!

My preference has been Patron - silver or gold, but I'll drink many as long as they cost at least 8 bucks a shot at the bar (I never said I was a cheap date!)

According to this site, Tequila and Grapefruit juice is called The Giraffe.

I thought it was Mezcal, and not Tequila, that had the worm?

Actually, tequila is mezcal. Like champagne is wine.
Mezcal is made from the agave plant. Tequila is made from the blue agave plant that grows near Tequila, Jalisco Mexico.

And agave is not (contrary to popular opinion) a cactus. It's a member of the lily family.
