I'm going with a mate from work on the 5th....well that's how it is at the mo. I'd rather go in the week but it's the only day he can go.
I'll let you know next week if that's for definate.

Yeah I know....

Probably the worst day, but it really is the only day he can go. And it's always more fun to go with someone. I'd only go and look at the minimal stuff that I wanted to look at otherwise and going home at lunchtime. With someone else I end up looking at everything.

Undecided whether or not to bother at all. I was going to go on the Wednesday M's day off work, well someone has to pay for anything I might just see

But what with the new bike, better not push my luck

Went on Sunday!!! Although a little queue to get ticket, was fairly quiet, friend that i went with said it was the quietest he has ever seen it!! As i usually go mid week i had nothing to compare with, but not the crowds i was expecting for a weekend. For those that want to do some Hog bashing go look at V-rod then go look at Hyosung stand (opposite Harley stand). hehe.

not a good picture, but in real life, it is very obvious where the styling influence comes from, it uses SV650 motor.

You might find that bleedin' stand with the Triumph on you wanted the pic of!!
I never found it!!

The new Tiger looks pretty good (don't like it in white).
The America doesn't look as bad as thought it would though I still prefer spokes.
BTW, brake discs look REALLY meaty now!!??? Who'd a thunk??

I like the new wheels on the Speedy.
The Scrambler has a new green colour which doesn't look as bad as it sounds ... honest.
The new black ST looks the business - I bleated when I bought mine it would look good in black, I'd have waited for that had I known it was coming

Don't blinker yourself by just looking at Triumph guys, there are some great looking bikes there.
Exhausts seem to be a major design issue at the mo.
Check out the dustbin sized can on the Kawasaki 1400 tourer!!!
You could hide a small child in there!!!!

I shall refrain from commenting on the luverly laydees there

I had a lump in my throat looking at the H-D Street Glide ... ahhh, happy memories ....
Have a butchers at it and see what I was riding at the NorEast. Comfy, comfy!!
BTW, Zoe on the H-D stand takes her coffee with milk and one sugar
Ask me how I know!!

Cornflakes, not too much milk, lightly sprinkled with sugar.
Toast, medium brown, not too much butter, little bit of marmalade.
If you do the toast too long, the bleedin' crumbs get everywhere!

Don't worry....I'll be able to spot it from a mile off. I think I may need to though.

There were a few NMM stands with classic bikes on (little groups of 2 and 3 bikes).
I always start off with good intentions of systematically seeing everything, then you see a stand and the system gets screwed up!!
I think I saw all the stands but probably missed half of 'em!!
Then there was the PITA of having to go to Rugby then Coventry afterwards on a couple of calls which sorta ended up rushing the day.

You know I'm messing.

FREE TIP:
Have one of the free MCN show guides when you go in.
We seemed to spend ages trudging back to an entrance to look at the map to locate particular trade stands (it's usually at that point you realise you were already standing next to the bloody thing to start with!! ).
Only problem is, your freebie guide doesn't have a 'You are here' pointer on it
