My Saddleman Jumbo Slant Bags had cracked badly on the back side. I called Travelcade/Saddleman and they agreed to swap me for a new set. Great. I sent them mine, then looked at their website and called to see if they would give me credit on their Universal rigid mount "Large Cruiser" bag, model 5050P (rectangular bag). It has a rigid, flat ABS plastic back, locking buckles, and is made of leather. I am not sure I actually got a discount, as I could have just gotten them from MAW for almost the same price. Does anyone know anything about these bags? I probably should have asked first, but I was busy at work and had them on the phone, and had to make a decision then. (I plan to mount them on my new EZ brackets.) Apparently from talking with them, these bags are a much higher quality than my old slant jumbos. True or False, I don't know. Anybody know?

Hmmm, not sure Tom. Personally, baed on my experience with the Drifter slant jumbos I would still reinforce the bag. Good luck!
