I have a question. Why has it taken 16 years to get this taken care of. Should have been taken care of back on the day he admitted to being guity. One quick bullet to the head. Lets see, One bullet = Couple of dollars 16 years on Death Row = truck load of dollars, paid for by the tax player. Oh, and while we are at it, Quote:

I like the part where his attorney appealed because the method of execution (injection) would be too painfull for his client........

Cruel and unusual seems to be in the eye of the beholder. The death penalty is clearly provided for in the US Constitution and in the Bible as well. Objections that are based on either of those fly in the face of the text, as well as historically accepted meanings, of both. At the time the Constitution was written the common methods of execution were hanging and shooting. The authors of that document clearly had no problem with either. As for accepted methods of execution during the periods covered by the Bible, the less said the better. Legal and moral objections to capital punishment that depend on them must depend on arguments that cannot be sustained by either.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

My time in the Army was spent mostly as a Sniper. I got a "card" was Airborne dropped and within a week or 2, went home. 1 shot, 1 kill. No appeal, no 16 years in jail. I DO NOT in ANY WAY feel bad for "My Kills"! If I was 20 years younger, I'd be back over seas! You kill, You die! PERIOD! The loonies out there KNOW they have a better chance of never being put to death then going to the Death Chamber! For Crimanies sake! They HAVE admitted that! Screw around MY home and you will WISH the law got you before me! I know how to hide a body, I'm just running outta space!

They should lock up his family, too. Make sure these guys know that his family will have to pay also.

The death penalty was certainly appropriate in this case.

I sometimes have doubts about the death penalty and the way it is applied in the U. S., but I have to admit, Rolling deserves what he got. The things he did were inhuman, and it should never have taken 16 years to bring him to justice.

Generally the perps family is victimized too. Just imagine going through life as a serial rapist/killers kid, wife, parents or brother. Certainly it’s not the same as the ones who were killed or their loved ones but bad nonetheless. I think the Amish families in Pennsylvania got it right when they extended love and grace to the family of the killer.

Yeah, the way the death penalty is applied way too often needs some reform. This was one of those cases where there was no doubt whatsoever, so the reform in this type of case should be to speed things up.

There are some of you that think I'm a bit harsh, and to you I say" Too friggin bad". The POS willingly went out and killed people. People who didn't deserve to be killed. I hope he fries in hell for eternity. There is no excuse for his actions and NO rationalization. This POS got what he deserves.

No argument, I think the death penalty is underused. Not only should we kill more criminals, we need to do it faster and in public. Once the guilt of a criminal is proven beyond reasonable doubt they should be punished. If the crime is sufficiently heinous hang them in the public square to demonstrate the consequences of their criminality. If a convenience store robber kills the clerk and six months later his corpse is dangling outside the courthouse perhaps others contemplating a similar crime might decide that robbing and killing someone for $120 and a 12 pack of Bud is simply not worth the risk.
Strenuous safeguards to ensure the guilt of the accused must be in place but endless delays caused solely to delay and obstruct justice cannot be allowed. Letting bleeding heart lawyers tie up the courts for purely political purposes must be stopped. Heinous Murder? Guilty beyond any reasonable doubt? String him up! Leaked sensitive classified information that got someone killed? Guilty beyond any reasonable doubt? Blindfold and shoot them!

I read on CNN yesterday that he had confessed to 3 other murders as well, including a 8yr old kid. click here for story This guy got off easy if you ask me.

You guys heard of "Willie Horton" Dukakis let him out of jail one weekend twice convicted of murder.
Well that weekend he killed by younger brothers wife, the way she died would make you puke. My whole family was in the court room and had to view the crime scence photo's.
And this cocks**ker is still alive. Appeals, Appeals, Appeals.
The do gooders in this country need a taste of realitlty.

Living in fear can be a terrible thing. In Palm Bay where I live a serial rapist has been on the loose. He entered homes through unlocked windows in the very early am hours. He raped a six year old girl, a 54 year old woman, and attacked three others in their 20's without being able to complete the crime. We have been unable to open our windows at night because of the fear of letting the a-hole have access. I have a wife and kids at home and believe me, it is a scary thing to have that kind of worry on your mind. They finally announced yesterday that they have the jerk in custody. A young man driven by some aberration to commit these attacks. I am sure that if he hadn't been caught, he eventually would have killed some unfortunate victim. As it is, how do you help a six year old girl recover from a rape, and expect her to ever be able to live a normal life? I got mugged once in Washington, D. C. and it took me months to feel halfway normal again. That isn't even in the same universe as what happened to that little girl. Some crimes need to be punished severely, in a timely manner, and without the rediculously costly delays caused by a legal system out of control. I know my family's safety at home is mostly an illusion, but maybe if crimes like these were more decisively punished, there would be fewer people willing to attempt them.

You know, as soon as someone disagrees, it's locked. I don't bother trying to debate the radicals anymore, and the threads don't get locked  .
Let 'em rant, it doesn't change anything and after a while, they get tired and move on. This'll probably get some of them ranting more, but I won't respond. It'll peter out after a while.
