OUCH! And I say "OUCH"...'cuz...I did the very same thing once some twenty years ago while trying to load my old XS1100 Yamaha into a moving van. The bike bottomed-out right at the top of the ramp and over I went.(the d*mn thing landed right on top o' me) The wife's first response after seeing me do it(and seeing that I was okay) was that she was sorry she didn't have a video of it so she could send it to Bob Saget who was hosting "America's Funniest Home Videos" at the time. The heartless wench!!! Cheers, Dwight (actually, at the time, I was on the ground with a motorcycle on my chest laughin' my fool head off right with her about my "miscalculation" too)

I loaded my bike into a moving van too. But rather than FILM IT I had my friend actually help! Go figure...

Rod, that is too funny.....to watch, not to have been the poor sucker that fell off.
I've watched guys load their bikes using a ramp that was only about a foot wide and it scares the hell out of you!
The ramp I borrow every once in a while is about 4 feet wide after you open it up.
At least it gives you some place to put your feet down for balance.

I thought at first he was going to imbed himself into the front of the truck. Seemed like the fear was getting up the ramp. I guess it was actually staying ON the ramp.

My thoughts exactly!!! Why wouldn't you have a couple of friends spot while loading? Why would they video tape something like this anyway? They must have expected something bad could happen.

Years ago in the late 60's our neighbor was a motorcycle mechanic / pinstripe artist. One day we watched him roll a chopper off a pick up down a 2 X 6 backwards, without looking. He just sat on it, and kicked the thing backwards and let it roll. We might have collected a few dozen flies in our gaping yaps at the sight.
After seeing that, if you told us he could walk on water we probably would have believed it.

UNloading my bike was harder! Took 4 or 5 of us. If it stars walking to one side, it is hard to get it back on track.
